Cyclical Psychotherapy and Movement Collective is located in the lower level.
There is not a designated parking lot, but there is plenty of street parking in the front, side, and back of the State Mercantile building. There are blue parking signs directing you to where it is located downtown. The blocks surrounding the building mainly have 2 hour parking. If you go one block West, there is neighborhood street parking without time limits. You can click here to see the city of Louisville’s website and map for downtown parking.
Please provide enough time to find parking when coming for your session, especially the first time you come to the office if you are not familiar with the parking in the area.
The building is ADA compliant with elevators to access the lower level and has accessible bathrooms.

The office has many options for spaces and seating based on your comfort level and preferences for therapy.
There is a large open space for movement, dance, and play with props for all ages from mats, balls, Therabands, supportive pillows, a physical therapy grade crash pad, ballet barre, scarves, and physical games such as cornhole, basketball, hockey, and bowling.
The play therapy area has everything from dress up, to dolls, sand tray therapy supplies, games, and toys so children have everything they need to processing their emotions and experiences. This area is primarily for children and teens, but adults are welcome to use the board games or anything else you want to use for processing.
The art therapy area has everything for all ages from painting, coloring (markers, crayons, pastels, color pencils), drawing, making arts and crafts, sensory items such as Aqua Beads and Pluffle, shrink art…we pretty much have it all. And if we do not have it, we always take requests.
There is a more traditional therapy room with a variety of seating for all preferences from a rocking chair, a floor chair, couch, and chaise lounge along with floor cushions. This room also have therapy cards, fidgets, and board games.
Coffee, tea, and snacks are free for all clients in the waiting area, but you are also welcome to bring your own food or beverage to session as needed.
You are welcome to bring your own fidgets or activities such as knitting and I also take ongoing requests for new items that will assist with your processing and regulation.
