What to Wear:

  • Any attire you can move comfortably in. Depending on your comfort level, you may be rolling on the floor.

What you will need:

  • For in person lessons, you only need to bring yourself.

  • If you are taking virtual lessons, you need enough space to move and an electronic device to use Zoom.

    • We usually use a chair with a back, but we can always work with what you have.

    • It is not required, but getting an exercise ball is highly recommended to help explore movement and the specific type of Alexander Technique taught.

    • If you feel comfortable on the floor, try to have enough space to roll once and fully extend your body.

    • If it is more comfortable for laying on the floor or rolling, you may have a yoga mat available.
