Cast Bios
Sara Yanney MA, MFA, LPC, R-DMT, AmSAT, GL-CMA, CET (she/they) is a body based dance/movement therapist and dance/movement educator, choreographer, and performer dedicated to sharing her passions for movement, artistic expression, understanding the body, holistic wellness, emotional intelligence, empathy, community, equity, and social justice.
They are the artistic director of The =ibrium Dance Project: For EVERYBody founded in 2012, which has shown work in CO, IL, IN, MI, NJ, NM, NY, OH, UT, and WI and internationally in Canada and Haiti. She has performed with the Bill Evans Dance Company, Blue Tribe African Dance Company, Blythe Edens Dance Company, Indy Convergence, Gran Lakou Haitian Folkloric Dance Company, The New Mexico Contemporary Dance Alliance, Motus Dance Theatre, SMAG Dance Collective, and Wellspring/Cori Terry & Dancers.
They are the director of Cyclical Psychotherapy and Movement Collective, offering psychotherapy, body-based therapies, and classes, has served on faculty at Ball State University, Anderson University, and Utah Valley University, was the founder/director of Jump Into Motion Dance Academy, which offered affordable dance and movement education to children for over 10 years, and is certified in the Bill Evans Method of Teaching Laban/Bartenieff-Based Modern Dance Technique.
Sara received her MA in Somatic Counseling: Dance/Movement Therapy where she was a recipient of a Graduate Honors Scholarship and the Victoria “Tori” Wolf Capron Scholarship, received training as an AmSAT certified Alexander Technique Teacher from Alexander Technique Denver and SLCityAT, she received her GL-CMA (Graduate Laban-Certified Movement Analyst) from Columbia College Chicago, and her MFA in Performing Arts: Dance at the Peck School of the Arts, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where she was a recipient of the Chancellors Graduate Student Award, and received her BA in Dance from the University of New Mexico in 2003 with departmental honors and received the Friends of Dance Scholarship, The Provost Award for Artistic and Academic Achievement, The Bill Evans Dance Teachers Intensive Scholarship, and the Barbara Kiker Award for Excellence in Dance.
Sara especially needs to thank her partner and best friend Rasha Husseini-Trujillo for putting up with the creation of this project and being the best care taker, partner, and support anyone could ask for. I love you.
Faith Kimball is a an actress and vocalist who has recently moved back after graduating with her BA to become established in Colorado.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in musical theatre from Cornell College. Some of her favorite roles include Lydia in Pride and Prejudice, Delores in Working: The Musical, and Odie in The Vanishing of the Jolly Roger.
During the day, Faith is a registered behavioral therapist, putting her musical theatre skills to good use in various different circle times.
This is her second fringe festival show that she has been a part of and is so proud of all of the work that has been put into it. Much love to all of the other performers in this show, hearing their stories has been truly inspiring.
Faith sends love to her parents, siblings, friends, cat, and all other family, chosen or otherwise.
Shannon Fornes is a dancer and choreographer from San Diego, California. They received a Bachelor's degree in Dance and Psychology from Mount Holyoke College where they performed in pieces by Barbie Diewald, Erin Kouwe, and Chavi Bansal as well as works by student choreographers Sammie Murray, August Grace, and Mykelle Walton. Shannon’s experiences with hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, endometriosis, and celiac disease fundamentally shape their relationship with movement. A fascination with being upside down combined with physical abilities that fluctuate from day-to-day creates a unique landscape through which they are always moving. Photo Credit: Mykelle Walton
Adam Shay is a Denver-based movement artist and performer currently working with =ibrium Dance Project and New Paradigm Dance Theater. Since relocating to Colorado in 2025, he has performed throughout the region and beyond, including appearances at RADFest in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and, for the first time this year, Denver Fringe.
Previously based in California, Adam has performed and choreographed in San Diego and San Francisco, presenting works at venues including Safehouse Arts and Disco Riot’s Queer Mvmt Fest.
Adam received his Minor in Dance from Purdue University, where he performed with Purdue Contemporary Dance Company and participated in additional choreographic and performance projects, including XWorks and Xperimental Concerts.
Alongside his movement practice, Adam works professionally in game development and interactive media. His artistic interests explore the intersection of digital media and performance, with an emphasis on collaborative choreographic process.
Max Wohlwend is a dance teacher, choreographer, burlesque performer, and drag queen. They have performed in and choreographed in many different performances throughout Colorado including on the Main Stage for Pride two years in a row, on the Tracks stage, and collaborating with the artist Liquid Bloom.
Max teaches jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and musical theatre. They are also passionate about creating and teaching dance classes for the trans, queer and sapphic community and advocating for nonbinary dancers and creating spaces where they feel seen.
Aside from teaching dance, gogo dancing, choreographing for local drag and burlesque performers, and performing as a drag queen, Max is also currently working with the =ibrium Dance Project and will be performing in Denver Fringe 2026.
